All of the voters, Republican, Democrat or Independent need to stand up and "scream at the top of your lungs" that "enough is enough." In mid-January the Arizona Governor’s office released a budget plan that proposes to permanently eliminate the department’s voter-approved Heritage Fund and redirect all Arizona State Lottery revenue to the state’s general fund. That proposal has been sent for consideration by the Legislature. I urge all Arizona voters who voted to enact this legislation in 1990 to contact your district representative and tell them that you are opposed to this piracy of funds.
