Obama, the never ending opportunist.

Our President has seized on the tragedy in Tucson to turn the attention away from his failed and detrimental policies. It is unfortunate that he leeches on to the country’s remorse over the shooting of our Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords, and uses this as a stepping stone to the voters in 2012. He will of course expound on the virtues of his repeated attempts to reach across the aisle and of continuously being rebuffed by the other side. What you will not hear is what they have done to immediately cope with the unemployment situation, how they will address the glut of government spending that has this country on the thresh hold of bankruptcy, or what is being done to secure our borders.

He will talk about the virtues of Gabrielle and what she has meant to the citizens of Arizona as well as the country. And he will be right, except his comments it will be from the re-election environment as opposed to being from the heart. Yes, I know, I should at least give him the benefit of the doubt, but do any of you honestly believe that he is coming out of compassion for Gabrielle? It is nothing more than a photo op to embellish his re-election efforts in 2010. In February 2010, Congressman John Murtha died and President Obama sent his hatchet man, Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/feb/09/john-murtha-barack-obama-democrats.

If per chance there is to be a speech of compassion, it should be delivered by the First Lady Michelle Obama, who by her behind the scene involvement with youth in general, has clearly demonstrated that she really cares.

I hate to bemoan the point but the President will use this platform to further his socialistic agenda. It will also afford him the opportunity to expound the need for tighter gun control which we all know that Congresswoman Giffords was opposed to http://giffords.house.gov/2008/09/VOTESTOREPEALBANONHANDGUNSINTHENATIONSCAPITAL.shtml.

The last thing that is needed is more laws when it is apparent that they cannot enforce the ones that we already have.

America's Hunters - The World's Largest Army.

The state of Wisconsin has gone an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That's great, considering there were over 600,000 hunters that got permits this year.

Allow me to restate that number.

Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world - more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined - deployed to the woods of a single American state to keep the deer population under control.

But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who are in the woods of Pennsylvania this week.  Michigan's 700,000 hunters have now returned home.  Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it is literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

And that is just FOUR states.

The total population of registered hunters in America today ranges from 23 million to 43.7 million individuals. (Based on annual data provided by the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service.)

As long as the American Hunter retains his right to Bear Arms, America will forever be safe from foreign invasion of troops.
Hunting - it's not just a way to fill the freezer.  It's a matter of national security.

Anybody ever read 287(g)????????

Hypocrisy runs rampant, but you already knew that.
I hate to resurrect old hat but an article in today’s Star brought immigration back to the forefront. The article chronicles a program identified as “287(g)” Feds use 287(g) to assist local law enforcement, which as it turns out is a law that has existed since 1995 and funds local law enforcements efforts to enforce federal immigration laws.  
Then on the other hand they sue us for doing exactly what they contract and pay us to do. Bait and switch
Remember back when Los Angeles City Council attacked Arizona and started their boycott? LA Boycotts Arizona
Guess what? Hypocrisy at it’s finest raises it’s head. Although not the City, but rather the County of Los Angeles, signs a new 3 year contract to continue it’s enforcement of, none other than, 287(g). Money over morality?  
Nary a headline or peep from the White House or their Darth Vader, Attorney General Eric Holder.
Just thought some of you out there might be interested.

Well, political correctness aside, the German chancellor, Angela Merkel puts caution to the wind and calls a “spade a spade” when she states that all immigrants to her country must be forewarned that Germans “feel bound to the Christian image of humanity – as that is what defines us. Those who do not accept this are in the wrong place here." Overrun by foreigners.

On the other hand, our president, Barack Obama continues with an inexplicable solicitude toward the faith of Muhammad. Obama defends Islam
A recent publication states that: “Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.” Muslims attempt takeover after reaching 2% or greater of a countries population

Now that the chancellor has let the cat out of the bag the next thing that we will hear is that the Germans are reverting back to Nazism.
